3D monitors are slowly becoming more and more present in store offers. It can not be ruled out that the target audience for this type of product is not small, but Sony’s latest work may raise some doubts.
At the IBEE (International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition) in Japan, 280-inch LED-backlit LEDs are shown. Dimensions of the device are 6.4 x 3.4 meters.
The whole consists of 70 smaller displays. The manufacturer claims that this product can be used in the advertising industry as it could be an electronic billboard.
However, it is puzzling that special glasses are needed to enjoy the three-dimensional image of the LCD display. Is Sony expected that soon everyone will be carrying them and will set up each time they go next to the three-dimensional ad displayed?
